Milly and Tillie
This all ages show was collaboratively created in 2010 at Open Eye Figure Theatre by myself along with Elise Langer and Jason Ballweber. The piece performed in the summers of 2010, 2011, and 2013 at Open Eye Figure, the Walker Art Center, and the Gutherie Theatre. In 2013 Milly and Tillie received an Ivey Award for Overall Excellence.
Milly and Tillie is a 30 minute show about two silly sisters who set out to have the perfect picnic, but things don't always go as planed for the sisters. One mishap after another leads Milly and Tillie on a silly adventure to create the perfect picnic. The show includes different styles of puppetry, slapstick humor, songs and two very silly sisters.
